Protean Workshop Begins Business Mentorship with Penguin Suits, Inc.
Remember having that special person who would take you under their wing to show you the ropes and be the role model you needed? For many people, finding an experienced, patient and motivating guide can be quite difficult. Lucky for Protean Workshop, a local and minority-owned architectural firm, they have found their perfect match with Penguin Suits, Inc.
For years, the Boerne marketing and advertising agency has been working with the BEPP, a joint venture between the and the city of San Antonio Alamo Colleges’ Business Empowerment Plan program to provide advice and guidance to qualifying businesses in areas of administration, organization and operations management. Through the Mentor/Protégé program (the phase of the Business Empowerment Plan), Penguin Suits was able to connect with Protean Workshop and begin their business mentorship journey.
Dedicated to providing a creative, inventive and innovative design approach, Protean Workshop has the wonderful opportunity to really build business and learn from a thriving and reputable agency. Debi Burrows, owner of Penguin Suits, expresses her excitement for taking on this mentorship role with Protean Workshop by sharing, “I love being a part of this program and encouraging ambitious business owners to discover how they can grow their businesses for the better. It’s truly been a rewarding experience.” Burrows also teaches Business Plan Market Analysis in the Small Business Boot Camp, a component of the Business Empowerment Plan program.
